Abstract Background Visual analogue scale foot and ankle (VAS-FA) is a patient-reported outcome measure for disorders. The VAS-FA validated into several languages well adopted use. Nonetheless, minimal important change (MIC) the has not been estimated thus far. Methods score was obtained from 106 patients undergoing surgery various complaints. MIC using an anchor-based predictive method. Results adjusted 6.8 total score, 9.3 Pain, 5.8 Function, 5.7 Other complaints subscales. found to separate improvement deterioration in patients’ condition. Conclusions successfully defined current study. can be used evaluate clinical status its change. Further research on estimating disease-specific MICs recommended.
